Ghost writing is a longer process, where we will work closely together, our checkpoints will start out closer together and smaller in nature, and begin to widen as we develop our relationship and refine the voice. Your story is waiting to get out there, lets setup a time to discuss it and bring it to life.
So you want to write a book, but you're not confident in your ability to write it, edit it, proof read it, or really even where to begin. Maybe you could totally handle ALL of that, but don't have time, energy, or desire to go through the arduous process of writing the book. Either way, ghost writing is your solution.
So you're asking, "What in the world is Ghost Writing?"
Ghost writing is the process of you and another person coming together to take your ideas, your concept, your story, your message, your research and to systematically lay it out, and work together to craft your book. The way it works, we would first get together to discuss what it is the book would be about, target audience, specifics of content, themes, research, tone, voice, pacing etc. Once we are on the same page, then we would craft a rough outline, which we would use to create a schedule to make sure things are moving along at an appropriate pace. Then I would begin writing and hitting the benchmarks we lay out in our scheduling/outlining, and you would simply need to review what is written and send back any feedback so we can continue to refine what is written and being written. Once the full manuscript has been completed, it would be yours, with your name on it, and my part/association with the book would end there.
I do all the hard writing work, you only need to supply the concept, the basics of research, and the voice. We can create, fiction or non-fiction together, we can create anything from a full fledged novel, to a basic article. From technical writing to whimsical writing, the only boundaries are those you place on yourself.
